Sold my old NA6 about 5 months ago and now find myself in the position of needing another car.

Enter my hunt for an SE. Hope to be joining this group in the next 3-4 months.

FWIW, my experience of my SE is that if I wanted a quick turbo MX5 I'd start with something other than an SE, especially if you might want to track it, which you should.

Daily driver is an MY11 WRX and we have a cobra replica as a track car. This will be daily commuting and some nice weekend trips with the wife.

I am kind of torn between an NC or an SE though. Having owned two previous NA's, I can't wait to get back in a 5.

Not too many mods planned initially as I'm going to learn the car first.
Coming from an NA it will be plenty quick for a while yet.
I respect the Mazda engineering and want reliability and drivability as it will be my daily driver.
I did buy a set of cuscos with e-con that will eventually go in, but again, firstly I want to get the feel of the car before fiddling with anything.

I collect it tonight !!!
