Blue skies, cool breeze and an mx5?
What else could one need on a day off? :D

Nice!

I'm trying to pick what it is about your NA Nate, I'm pretty sure it's the bodykit, but whatever it is, I like it. 8)

Could it be the sidewall painting on the tyres?

Thanks Weasel :D

The kit is the only big difference I see, even if it is just a dodgy job thats glued onto the original kit

In the past few weeks I've decided the dodgy kit will be staying, I'm gonna cut it up a bit to get more airflow into the bay once I know my plans for future air intakes. I'm also going to have to do some dodgy style repairs to get it to sit flush with the rest of the body - not looking forward to that!!

And a note on the sidewall lettering - It already needs a new coat!!!! It sure doesn't last long. I might try and find a clear silicon spray or something to seal the paint in a bit better.

Guys

Great pics!! Thanks 'Nate' and Danny and special thanks to Rodent for the pic of 'Black Betty', now I'm hrading off to find that awesome video previously posted 'Gangnam' style!! Oh how I love that clip you guys made!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Danny, you doing 'Macleans Bridge at Lakeside' on 19 May next? I'm taking the NA, will probably see you Monday 29th as in for a service- drove it today for a demo of an NA with a young guy from the Gold Coast and he loved it!! He is aware it's no ' normal' NA hahaha - he's looking for a nice NB so I was able to allow him to compare both NA & NB [and even a ride then drive of the 86!]

Picked up my first ever MX5 a while back. 1998 NB - one (little old lady) owner (so she said) - 90,000km. Body looks better in the pics than it actually is - but nothing major - and now I don't have to worry about leaving it in the carpark :D . Probably won't be doing anything to it for now. Just a quick spin on weekends. Settled on an MX5 in the end - because it's a 1990ish made in Japan car with a reputation for reliability - recently had a 3cyl 1.0L Daihatsu Charade power pack - not - for 15 years from new - that gave me 370,000km without 1 repair - if I get anywhere near that again I'll be happy. I do like my corners and roundabouts, so it's a nice change to have something that's made for it 8) . Didn't think I'd ever be driving something smaller than a Charade though

I'm not sure Roger as I've got plenty going on. In saying that, I'll certainly do my best to be there.

Cheers,
Danny

First ever track day at the Downshift Track Battle held at norwell driver training centre.
Managed a 1;17;50 in my first session and got around in 1;15;00 by the fifth.
