As long as everyone understands that it won't be designed for towing. That's a whole different ballgame and requires engineering. If someone actually wants a towbar, PM me and we'll discuss.

I completely guarantee I will not tow with it. At most it might have two bikes on it, but if it's only allowed one, I can live with that.

Nope. No towball unless someone(group) wants a run of towbars made

Oh right. I was under the impression there would be a tow ball to mount a bike carrier.

Nope. I'll build something like a towbar, but not a towbar if that makes sense

Who wants one for a NB? NB in my workshop so I'll do NB first. Or if it's only people with NA's, I'll get one from Dann.

So hows it going to work with pricing and what not.

Is there going to be a prototype so we can see what it will looks like, then get numbers and commit or what?

Yep. I'll hook into it Monday and have something by Monday arvo and get photos up. That'll give me a chance to figure out pricing. Obviously the more people involved the cheaper it'll be for you guys.

Cool, maybe everyone reading can post something if there interested so we can start getting numbers together which will give everyone a better idea.

I've come up with a design that'll hold 2 bikes, is removable, low profile and can fold up and fit in the boot when it isn't being used. Rough estimate is coming in around the $450 mark for an NA, and NB about $40 more. I haven't seen underneath a NC but if someone can take a pic it should give me an idea. For more than 5 orders I'll build some jigs and drop the price $75 on both models

Maybe before you start building draw up a sketch and give us a peak. Designing for a road bike is easy as you can use the top tube to mount on the rack but mountain bikes have some pretty crazy suspension designs.
