Thanks. They’re not badly priced. Your happy that they’re genuine RayBrig products with the markings and that boxes etc?

Some asshole recently smashed the mirror on my NC so I figured while it was getting repaired I'd get them to repaint the hardtop to match the body. Very happy with the result

Yep, I’m satisfied their the real thing, and look very well made. They even come with new, Hella branded, H4 bulbs.

Thanks! I was surprised the configuration was available (6 years ago).

Thats what makes me wonder about them being genuine. I believe that Raybrigs usually include one of their own Raybrigs brand globes with them.

FWIW, my Raybrigs, and I can't say for certain they're not fake but appear OK to me, didn't come with any bulbs at all. I have seen them sold with bulbs but the box is different than mine and I've also seen them sold with the same box I have so I'm guessing you can buy them either way.

Made & replaced the window bush in my drivers door.
Took a bit of messing around, but now it's in the window is faster and the door is so much quieter.
Totally worth a half a day stuffing about.

Re: What have you done today/recently to your 5?
I finally got around to retro-fitting air conditioning into the NA. All the under-bonnet components are in, so the only remaining task is to fit the evaporator under the dash. I'm also going to fit new carpet, so it will be a complete strip-out of the interior and dash.

Installed some Craven Speed door bushings. Impressed with how much more solid the car feels. Super easy job.
Doors seem to sit slightly higher when closed now too, hoping the better contact between the windows and roof seals stops some of the rain leaking in.

Re: What have you done today/recently to your 5?
Finally managed to remove a spider that's kept making webs over my passenger mirror for months! Survived water hosing, compressed air, all sorts of items poked around, even insect spray ... today it showed itself and I managed to flick it off on to the ground. Didn't have the heart to kill it after it survived so much, so caught it and placed it in the garden a long way away from the car

Re: What have you done today/recently to your 5?
Built a new splitter and radiator air feed.
Quick release splitter meant I needed a way of feeding air to the radiator that was not fixed to the bumper.
