Sorry to see Brock Giblin from Landsborough [Sunshine Coast] has been seriously injured today at SMP when he rolled a Mazda3 which subsequently burst into flames

The car was owned by Colin Osborne

My information comes from 6pm 7 NEWS

Brock is suffering serious injuries with burns to 70% of his body and I'm sure all be thinking of him

I was used to watching Brock driving in the Excel Cup at Lakeside and whilst very young he is a very talented driver and was always at the front of the field

Saw the footage on Ch7 and suspected it was a 3. Looked like it was on the inside of Turn 1 (the high speed left hand sweeper). Hope the young fella recovers quickly and as well as possible.

It looks like he came unstuck very early in turn 1. It's fast there. The good thing is that it's very close to all the fire and rescue gear. Hopefully that means the burns are very superficial.

Not reported at all - mate has very good contacts and they dont know anything about that

Let's just hope he has a good recovery
