So i've tried to install an intake for the first time, having trouble with the mania firewall part.

I've drilled a hole into the firewall but i'm wondering if i'm supposed to drill through this plastic part also?

Hi.
that plastic panel is there to stop water entering the air intake for the ventilation system. The hole you have drilled is underneath the panel and will not interfere with the air entering your intake system.
