Hey all
hope everyone is well

Ive got a 2005 nc grand touring which has every bell and whistle on it that cme with the car but it never came with blutooth and that pisses me off lol. I have the bose stereo etc and want to know how i can get the factory blutooth to go through it.

My understanding is that there should be some kind of speaker/ mic somewhere in the car, could anyone who has this set up in the car which is basically everyone who owns an nc bar me show me what it looks like and tell me how i can get it in my car

I use the I.L. Motorsport Center Console Insert

with this cable routed to the console.

and plug my phone into this Belkin product in the console with the button on the dash.

I have an iPhone 6 and can play music, answer the phone and even use pandora etc with this setup.
FYI, Mine is the Bose Head Unit.
Works for me. :D

Perhaps it's not nearly sophisticated enough but I have a Bluetooth device that will clip on a sun visor. I went from no device to something that works in any car which is convenient. So the jalopy can have a mobile and be legal or at least I think it's legal. It does not play music it just amplifies the sound for an incoming call and you push a button to answer and do nothing when the call ends and of course it's hands free. I charge it up and it lasts weeks at least for me and it tells me if the battery is low.

When you sell a 2005 car and buy a later one you probably get a standard Bluetooth built in system anyway. My unit was a freeby as a result of a hand me down from cars that have the inbuilt system and it's great to recycle something. None of my friends have commented on the antiquity of it indeed some regard it as cutting edge.

This would work with some android smart phones.
