I have a friend trying to get a pink slip for an NB8A with coilovers in Wollongong and they've been rejected saying they require an engineering certificate.

Can anyone recommend a workshop to get a pink slip in Wollongong?

It would be a lot easier to ring a few places which do them and ask what they think of coilovers.
You could get recommended a place, which ends up rejecting them.
