A bug eye sprite,of all cars, was the most exciting cars Ive ever dríven. It was a Tasman Targa Ralley car , had won its category a number of times over the years. It was a hoot to drive.

The Escort doesn't tickle my jibblies, so I'm in no position to judge it in any guise.

The value of it is in the eye of the beholder. Sure it can be done for less, but if this is exactly what you want, you have the money and not the time - then this is the solution.

I don't just mean the MST, the logic holds for any of these resto-mods, or any expensive toy car. They all cost more than they would if you were to do it or even commission it, but there are plenty of people out there with the money and the desire that aren't going to look into building the car on their own or have the contacts to get it done. Places like MST provide a one stop shop. And if they've judged the demand correctly they'll do well.
