need help with finding class.
I have had a good look through the online cams manual to try and find a street registered class that I could enter my car into events like the Mt Cootha Hillclimb as I don’t really intend to competitively race on an each weekend basis. I am happy with club track days for the moment. I have managed to find what looks like a good class in the NSW Supersprint Series. Its the type 6 category SV. I basically want a category that I can enter under that does not restrict things like having small wings, and 7 inch wide rims only. I get a feeling I am dreaming and will have to pray to be an invited car. Is there any classes anyone knows of that I could take a look at?

Here I was thinking I'd have to move this to the "off topic" forum!

Link to MGCCQ Supplemenatry Regulations PDF for their next hillclimb - CAMS event. Subject to passing scrutineering, it looks like you would fit in "marque sports cars" or "all other sports cars" - see page 2.

From what I remember of your car from a friday night run, best bet for you would be 2a sports cars for hill climbs, without having another good look I don't know weather it would meet the 2b Marque Sports regs.
The other option would be to run in the QR sprint series, the class structure there is pretty open and you should be pretty competitive in how they set up the classes out there.
