RussellB you need to update your photo, I needed sunglasses when I looked under the bonnet yesterday

Bad news boys and girls

Spoke to Andrew Hardeman this morning and his car is in need of real attention and it wont be done prior to the challenge. So unless Rob Kiddel or Fatty come up, we have no Open class cars for you guys to chase.

On the other hand I think we have about 7 cars running in modified. Great comp for the modified people.

Really looking forward to it. Hope I can keep up.

For anyone who hasn't arranged their accomodation for Saturday night:

Mike's Manor

Located just outside of Goulburn on the way to the track, plenty of parking, great cooked breakfast included and $70 for a single room and $80 for a double room.

This is where my father and I usually stay and can vouch for it being a good, comfortable and easy on the hip pocket accomodation.

just cant get into 5th gear easily.. feels like the gate just dosnt meet up or something and when it dose go in it makes a bit of a grind. rest of the gears are fine and since you dont need 5th at wakefield :D

it sounds like its something to do with the syncros from what ive been told.. and you can get it to engage if you kinda play with the shifter a bit and kinda touch the reverse gate then slide it straight up to 5th...

i have mania onto an upgraded box for me 8) just looking into whether or not i can change end ratio and/or to a lighten fly wheel for super sprints.

other than that i just need new tyres so if anyone knows a good place to get rubber let me know :D

Wow. Is it that full already? We have 8 entries from Victoria, I think, all in class 5.

Can't wait.

Dinner Saturday night in town?

8 entries in Class 5, talk about dominating the class to try to hang onto the trophy.

I think NSW only has 6 including Andrew, who is running wounded.

Our turbo boys/girl will be disappointed that they haven’t someone in their class to challenge, so they will just have to set the FTD.

Seriously though, good luck to everyone running. I think it’s great that we can have this little bit of interstate rivalry and that people are prepared to travel to experience different tracks.

Yeah it's a bit of a shame we wont have a mix but that covers both clubman and modified in our system. Most of them are not modded very much. Robert Parr has Konis only, other wise a completely stock NA. He's going to struggle in class 5 but we'll just fit in. I've sent the details to Mike so hopefully he'll match us up well. I want him personally.

Wish we had someone to have a go at the open class but you get that.
