Got my documentation, I'm in!

Got to give Lara a wash, put new rims and RA-1s on, and AWAY WE GO!

Pity I couldn't get myself organised enough to have the Torsen installed before the event, but that will be all done and ready for the September track day.

As this is only my second time, does that mean in the unlikely event that I place in my Category on the day, that I won't earn any points towards the pointscore? The pointscore has now reset with the new financial year, right?

Matt,

Only place the LSD makes a difference I found is on the hairpin, and probably best to get used to how an LSD engages and drives first before jumping on the track, as it's a very different drive with it installed. Great once you get the hang of them though!

Don't worry Col, it's more fun in the wet. :D
It negates the hp advantage of the turbos and the sticky tyres and puts more emphasis on driving skill.
I found the NC worked beautifully in the wet, as long as it was kept on the track and not used to cut the grass.
Seriously though, Goulburn is one of the worst drought effected parts of the State at the moment, so the chances that it will rain on Saturday is pretty slim. 8)

A nice sunny and cold day in Goulburn, with passing snow and showers followed by hail, none of which will fall in any quantity.

Bring it on what ever it is we will have lots of fun.

However, nice cool air and a warm track would be ideal.

See you all on Saturday for a little competition.

CB, it is great fun in the wet however we both suffer from \"helmet in the hoodlining\" so I would prefer to be topless :D :D :D

Please explain to a neophyte what is different with the handling on LSDs.

Peter,

Just that in certain circumstances the LSD can bite and the rear steps out unexpectedly. Great fun when you know it's gunna happen but might be a bit of a handfull initially on the track with Matt never having dríven one in anger. I'd highly recommend a skidpan day at EC on the wet skidpan to learn the LSD in safety, and it's darn good fun...I still fondly remember driving Dave's SP with a Guru LSD there! 8)
