The polished Brown Davis roll bars you refer to in the May MX-Tra are not Cams approved :(

Neither are any of the brown davis roll bars in an MX5 but the clubs will accept them. What they wont accept is those dinky style bars you screw in behind the head rest with tech screws. Yours is fine. They will accept anything that is sturdy and supported diagonally and to the rear. Alluminium and bling bling fairy polished included, though we may have something to say about it. Hahaha.

The steel Brown Davis are CAMS legal as long as you have the 50mm. clearance above the helmet to the top of the cage.
NC Roadie, NC Racey, ND Racey….and a 30AE

Unfortunately you have to be a dwarf to achieve that. I'm about 50mm above the bar...
