Personally I am not a fan of the torsen diffs. The factory one in my Clubman would single spin at times, normally because the inside rear tyre was getting light.
It only occasionally did it on the street but would often do it on the track, normally through slower corners. This probably had something to do with my driving style and suspension setup. I was running Kings/Konis and 205/50/15 RE55S tyres on 15x7s. 160rwkw probably also had something to do with it.
I would much rather run a clutch type LSD myself, as I have experienced the same issues in my previous club car (Datsun 1600) which I changed from a torsen to a clutch pack.

I would not be putting Torsen in the race car...like Jake said as soon as you lift a wheel it just spins...

Definately need a good clutch diff or spool...
