Licences, log books and MX-5 Cup

I am making progress towards racing in the MX-5 Cup.
Bought a faster car and am down to 1:16.985 at Wakefield. If I can knock off another second I'm there.
I am nearly through my CAMS licence application but still need to lower my blood pressure further.
Today I looked at AASA licensing and see that a AASA National Licence is $150.
A CAMS PC licence costs $490 and CC licence (clubman - state level)costs $310
Question is can I do all rounds of the MX-5 Cup on a AASA licence, including rounds at SMSP?
Similarly with log books, I haven't checked the costs but imagine AASA is cheaper but can I do all rounds of the Cup on AASA logbook.

AASA licence and Log Book are sufficient to do all rounds of the MX5 Cup in the current format including the SMSP rounds. Given many of the cars and drivers have the AASA licences and vehicle passports I don't believe that would be likely to change anytime soon. You will need to at least maintain a Cams L2S licence to do the CAMS NSW Supersprint events I believe.

I've gone with CAMS to give more flexibility.
They even came up with record of the L2S licence I had in 2001 but not my Rally licence from 1979.

CAMS licence pending, it's on the website but have not received card yet.
MX-5 Cup series entered, round 4 entry accepted by MRA.
CAMS logbook next week.
Lookin' good to go.

I just booked in for a Trackschool day and did OLT with John Boston. He was great. Then did the online lecture from CAMS.
Medical was a delay.
If I had my time over I would have gone for AASA licence and AASA vehicle passport.
Are you aiming for round 5?
I made it to round 4 and had a ball. Hanging out for round 5 now.
