Patchy lives
new battery. Turned over & started on a base map. for the 1.8
shes missing about 100 mm of exsaust between the header & the cat....so shes noisy.
she started on E85 which has been sitting there for 6 months
didnt have to run in the cams.
Shes been converted to waterless coolant
got a new short shift kit whech feels awesome
getting my head around the following
connecting the VICS to megasquirt 2
connecting E85 sensor
TPS is not responding. could be a jumper in MS2
looking as cutting out some rust tomorrow.
will get the exsaust sorted through the week

Re: Patchy's Fawlty Towers risk management. Enter at own risk
Ive put the OEM ones back in so I get it through the blue slip without hassles
I re-seated the valve & valve-seats so I had to re do the gaps on the cams
I was expecting to have to run them in again. but they were fine.
I expect to run the aftermarket cams once they are fitted

Did you have a chance to go for the blue slip or are you doing finishing (phase 1) touches?

patchy came off the Jacks today
drove it the first few meters in the front yard today.
no exhaust back pressure yet.
loud as ƒü¢k.
woke up the whole neighbporood.
chucked the biggest doughnut on the wet grass at the front. LMAO.
no I didn't but it did cross my mind.
New clutch feels tight.
short shifter kit feels real short
I feel like going out * just driving patchy around the front yard

Congrats STM!
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
