Yes mate thanks, it feels very direct now but........ would you believe i haven't tried it yet properly. I'm just very tired. only tried it while parked after i finished. as i said before it does feel nice

I'm doing a full mechanical inspection on the car tomorrow to see how much it's liking boost. :)
thanks again for your detailed instructions

hey guys, glen just took me for a spin in his turbo and all i can say is wow

it really gave me a taste for how a bit of boost can transform an mx5. it's still a really nice car to cruise around in as he is only running it at 5 pounds, but it still gives you a real big kick in the pants when you need it  . his car really is impressive, the other main difference i noticed is what an improvement the strut brace and roll cage give to the rigidity of the car. it feels really solid.

thanks heaps glen for giving me some of your time and showing me your car, i was really impressed. :D

no worries james :)
the strut brace you can get rather cheap and that will make a big difference to the feel of your car and is rather easy to put on aswell.

yeah the strut brace and the seatbelt tower brace that mania sell are definately on my shopping list now! i figure the seatbelt tower brace gives the same rigidity benefits as your rollbar, altho obvioulsy doesn't offer the rollover protection.

he offerred me the keys too but i was too chicken to accept them  :D

i got a fair idea of the performance from being a passenger, and i just had this horrible thought that i might crash it or something. highly unlikely i know ( i've only been in one accident all my driving life - i was rear ended when i was stopped at a tram stop once - clearly not my fault at all). but i figured better to be safe than sorry.
