Hey Guys,

Just wondering your opinions o Torsen 1.8 Diffs?
Basically going down the path of a 1.8L in my NA6 (since its crank fell off).
I'm going to put a 6-Speed box into it, and wondering which Torsen would be better the 3.636 or 3.9?
Going to be more of a general driver than a race car.

Thanks heaps for that, I'll most prob go with the 3.9.

I have now run 3.6, 3.9 and 4.1 with my 6 speed.

The 3.6 is a bit too high geared even though it is the standard ratio.

I found the 3.9 to be a good road ratio.

The 4.1 gives better acceleration but 5th gear runs out at about 180kph and so you have to use 6th at high speed circuits. The car will not accelerate well in 6th. This is really only a problem for turbo cars as NA cars struggle to go that fast anyway.
