Be patient...Keep calling, they receive phone calls left right and centre so if the phone rings out and you get their answering machine you are almost guaranteed they are already on the phone with someone else. Just be patient and keep trying to call - its like a radio station, you might be the lucky caller one time

Keep up the good work Mania Team

Hi Ringo,

You should be able to get through on the phone - we're running two lines now (although they seem to ring at the same time when there's only one person there to answer them :) ) and voice mail should catch the un-answered ones.

Email should also work: info@mx5mania.com.au

If it's the no-drill CAI you're after we should be able to get you in for a Saturday install with a week or two notice.

<work mode off> :D

What kind of cold air intake are you thinking of installing? K&N typhoon, Viper piper Xross?

If so you could buy the viper system through Fabre Australia (Lakemba) or Racing Revolution (Auburn) if its K&N any autobarn or repco store can order in the typhoon from rocket industries at much cheaper prices then mania.

PS im still waiting on return email posted 2 weeks ago from mania.

Buy the part and install it yourself...

Any mechanic should not have any trouble with the install, the hardest part is drilling the 75mm hole through the firewall and relocating the washer bottle (if you have a Mania CAI) else if you get the no drill kit and its only a few bolts...

If you want i can post some pictures showing my washer bottle location (different to the way mania do it where they lay it down against the wheel arch) I managed to whip up two brackets that use the existing bolts for the washer bottle and wiper motor that relocate the washer bottle a little to the left of where it originally sat, and keep it upright.

Do you leave a message on the answering machine if they dont answer? I've never had a problem with Simone returning my calls. It may not be till the next day but she always returns them.
