80kw atw on Mania Dyno!

Mania have their dyno running and my NA8 apparently has 80kws! The dyno has replicated several power figures from other dynos which are reputed to be accurate so I am confident this figure is also accurate. Given the only modification to my car is a Mania CAI I think 80kws is very good. I think standard is about 70-72 kws so either my engine is a freak or the Mania CAI is a very worthwhile mod.
Dan
PS
Thanks again for your efforts today David, Daniel, Andre and Simone.... you guys are tops!

That wasn't your car getting the brown davis put in today was it Dan?
Should have introduced myself... my bad.
80rwkw is tasty. Anything else done to it or is it purely just the mania intake?

And more importantly ... how are the new springs?

Springs are great thanks Mr Q, they must work better after the second installation...

I am happy with the compromise as they seem to match the shocks quite well with a controlled but not crashy ride. The cornering is sharper however I think they may get a little choppy with mid corner bumps.
Yeah that was me getting the BD installed Nath. I was also trying to get my second hand konis installed however we had a few dramas as they were actually to suit a NB and made the car look like a Landcruiser (there was almost 10cm between the guard and rear tyre!). Are you the guy who is doing the turbo, the guy who bought the radiator, or the guy who was having the heater hoses done
My car has no engine mods besides the CAI. The timing is standard and the plugs and leads are at least 3 years old!
Cheers
Dan

Exhaust is stock
You would have to ask Mr Q what it cost to have a run on the dyno. David wanted to put mine on the dyno just to see what numbers it would come up with, so there was no charge. The dyno is a new toy for David and Daniel so give them a call and I am sure they will look after you!
