coolant pipe removal

How can i remove this coolant pipe, i thought I read someone it just pulls out but I thought I'd better check first!

Yes, it does pull out of the housing. There is a rubber seal around the end of the pipe that holds it in place. The pipe also has a bracket about half way along that is held in place by a exhaust manifold stud. You may need to remove the manifold, or at least loosen it enough to remove the pipe.

I concur, make sure the nut is off teh relevant stud than just yank it out, can be fairly tight if it hasn't been out before. I'd also suggest using a new o'ring seal when you re-fit.

Got it! Now I hope this thing can be cut and shut.
