I currently have a 2.25inch exhaust system on my NA6. I'm wanting to upgrade to a 2.5inch for when my car gets turbocharged sometime very soon. If i fit the 2.5inch now and drive my car still as a naturally aspirated 1600 with the larger exhaust for a few months, will it change driveability at all or only the noise will be changed and fuel consumption?

I would hold off until the turbo is installed. The reason being that in most cases the exhaust outlet from the turbo does not match with a non FI exhaust. This is dependant on the turbo manifold, and the turbo itself
