Has anyone try NGK ZFR6F-11 long reach spark plug?

I'm worry it might hit the piston....

They sell these on MX5parts website, they are supposed to be pretty good too. I dont think they would sell them if they hit the pistons.

'Supposed' to give a slight improvement in power by placing the spark slightly further down in the cylinder.

Hmmm.... never heard that one before GC. But then again, it's was confirmed by respected lab tests that having all the ground electrodes on all plugs facing the same way gives more power.... but we are talking like 1% at the most, but hey, it's free power.

Hmmm.... makes sense in theory.... but then again, carbon deposit build-up also adds compression.

I don't mean to be argumentative, but would there also be a danger of pre-igntion? I guess even if there is, you can go for a long-reach & colder spec plug.
