hey guys.

i seem to always get a squeaky throwout bearing on my clutch.

it has happened now with 3 different clutches 4 times.

first with exedy hd clutch
second (happened twice though) with 949 racing twin plate
third with xtreme hd clutch

what would cause this? I don't rest my foot on the clutched pedal

Are they all OEM bearings? The only one that squeaked on me was in an 70s VW with an unknown maintenance history.

When does it squeak? The contact point between the slave cylinder and the clutch fork is very good at squeaking...does the squeak stop if you lightly rest your foot on the pedal?
