Want to beg/borrow - steel clutch alignment tool or input shaft

Hi all,

I am (surprise, surprise) having difficulty aligning a multi-plate clutch using a plastic alignment tool.

Has anyone got a steel alignment tool available for loan, or failing that, a junk transmission that I could scavenge the input shaft from?

Brisbane northside is ideal, or if you've got time to muck about with post, we can work something out.
