I'd agree with zossy any company with a halfway decent shock / coil over will have done development testing.

Only the mca reds are individually checked against the standard to verify the valving I think? Blues just get the standard valve assembly (and I assume random / periodic testing)

I can't speak for BC but if they guessed the damping and spring rates, they did a damn good job.

I actually have a dyno chart for BC BR (MX5) coilovers somewhere - I'll try to dig it up when I get home.

I not a fan. Have ridden in a couple of cars with Megan coilovers (not MX5s though) and also seen QC issues with other Megan parts.
