BMC upgrade question

I'm going to be fitting some larger brakes on my mx5 soon and want to upgrade the brake master cylinder too. I've sourced an NB8B brake master cylinder and booster to fit into my NA after I get bigger brakes but there is a slight problem. The NB8B BMC was equipped with ABS and so it only has 2 lines coming out of it as opposed to 3 lines in my NA's BMC.

So the fix is to simply add a t fitting for one of the brake lines going to the front brakes (as seen here: http://forum.miata.net/vb/showthread.php?t=385709). Could anyone tell me if the t fitting should go before or after the brake proportioning valve? Does it even matter?
