Bigger Brakes = What is the purpose?

High powered MX-5s might benefit from bigger brakes on the track.

I've only just started overheating my brakes at the track, prior to them I was fine with the NB8A discs/calipers.

Hawk HP+ would have sustained 5-lap track sessions easy.
What brake fluid did you have?

Pedal felt fine, car just started running long instead of pulling up. Super Dot 4 fluid. Bled just before the track day. Brakes were fine immediately after cooling down.
