Nice thought but think of the physical size of four 225x16 wheels stacked side by side, weighing 70 kilos sitting on your boot lid.
If you can’t look below and you will see what I mean.

Slicks aren't legal, R-Spec's (Semi's) are legal on the road provided you are not below the minimum tread depth indicator as required with a normal road tyre.
And yes it is a long way to drive on them to Wakefield but not as far as driving to Phillip Island as the previous owner of Patrick Bramston’s Casper did. When you have no other choice you drive on them.

Re: NC Rims
Finally, I got a set of Enkei RPF01 from GWR, 17 x 7.5 with +45.
Under $1300- delivered to my door. Was quoted $450- a rim locally.
Now what rubber?

Enkei's didnt happen from GWR, didnt have 7.5 in stock.
Apparently RPF1's not being imported in Australia any more. Wheeldemon(who supply most retail outlets) dont have them and I couldnt find anyone in Aus. that actually had them in this country.
My daughter happens to be in the US and she got me a set from a wholesaler over there who air-freighted them to me at an exceptionally good price. Total AUD$1250- to my door + $100- for centre caps...They have them in all sizes and several colours , Silver, Black, Gunmetal, Gold.
If anyone is looking for a set of RPF1,GTC01, NT03, EDR9, LUSSO, RP03, J10, FLC-01 ,FUJIN, GTC01
In fact, most that you see on their website http://www.enkei.com Most sizes, offsets and stud patterns.
I can arrange to get shipped direct to you by air. Payment via Paypal
PM me and i can give you my full contact details.
