If you don't intend to fit those brakes in the future don't worry about it.

Rotas certainly clear ( 16 inch) NB8B brakes as chrish on this forum has them fitted with no dramas.

Rota RB are an original (I guess) take on the 8 spoke minilite design where as the RB-X is a blatant RIP OFF of an RS Watanabe wheel in EVERY way.
Just get a set of superlites, chaparals, RB's or Compomotives instead. They're cheap and original takes of the same design.

Oh well I've learnt a lesson here, If this topic ended on the 2nd reply I would probably have done the right thing which was buy +35 Offset. I bought +30's instead and they are sticking outside the guards, Even with 195's on it(205's would have been ridiculous). I don't understand why they make them in that offset. Stuck with them now, Wonder how long it will take before the cops get me? :frown:

+30 really isn't that low of a offset. Have you rolled your guards? And just add more camber if it worries you that much

Have you got any photos to share? Can't be too bad.
As far as understanding why they make them in that offset, seems like a bit of a silly question. There are many more cars in the world than MX5's that have a 4x100 stud pattern which this offset may be perfect on.
I was considering this offset too for mine, would love to see.

Hard to tell from that pic.

 Haven't rolled the guards. I'm more worried about getting booked than scrubbing, Camber will be set correctly

Photo's will be coming in a week or so when the car is finished. It isn't too bad but still illegal.
When I was researching I should have asked what the original offset was on an NA6, Must be more than +30

Yeah its 36.

When the answer to fitting wheels is 'run extra camber' you know the stance crew are NOT performance enthusiasts.
