17x7.5 with 50 offset running 205/45s

Will be running 225s when tyres are worn. It will be more flush I think. But no guard rolling or scrubs. :D

U can also look at the Volk re30. That would be the lightest rim on the market right now. Not sure about the price, but a rough guess would be north of 3000 landed. But you know it's super rare :D

Nah, they look good but next will be the flaring of the guards to fit them.

Depends what you mean by fit!

215/40 or 35 tyres stretched and lots of camber and they will fit!

Practical, probably not
Functional, nope
Looks, probably look good!

Yeah, not going to put them on until the coilovers are in, problem is my front tyres already rub on full lock and they are stock wheels.

Now i am trying to decide weather to get stretched tyres, i think i might have to unfortunately. The BBS's were to good of a deal to pass up. Anyone have any recommendation? I was thinking 225/40?

Your stock tyre shouldn't hit. :?:

I'm not sure you can get 225 x 40 tyres. You may need 235 x 40.

Yeah i know, it's a little worrying. I have brand new yokohama s drive 205/45 on at the moment so maybe that's a factor.

This is so confusing, i don't know what tyres to get, i just don't want things to rub. What would you suggest?

Getting your car looked at first to see why the std tyre rubs.... before you bother trying to get the new ones fitted...

Ahh....rims shouldn't be vinyl wrapped.

Brake dust would stick to the vinyl so definatly not a good idea.

A fully set of Carbon Fibre wrapped RPF1s would look super good though :)
