Tein Super Street settings?

Just got my Tein SS in my NA6 the other day and am looking forward to play around with the settings.

To get on the right track, I was wondering what the general consensus is for damper settings for twisty back roads, for track days, as well as ride height?

For ride height I found that 325mm all round seems to get a good ride. You can get as low as 305mm, but under 320mm it seems to get quite choppy.

My track settings are 2/5, my twisty road settings are 8/8 and my street settings are 12/14.

Tein HAs on my car. They have 16 settings from 1 (rock hard) to 16 (stock). I've settled on 4/16 front and 2/16 rear for dry track and 15/16 all round for street. Wet track is prolly somewhere in between.

on this. when you turn it all the way back anti clock wize is that on the softest or hardest setting?

On mine there's a warning that you could damage the unit by turning beyond 16 clicks anti-clockwise. You turn it in all the way clockwise until it stops. This is position 1 - the hardest setting.

hmm i may have to read the guide again. when i turn mine anti clockwize it stops. but i could probably keep on going clockwise which is where i think it gets damaged

on my SS you turn clockwise to get full hard, then click back from there to soften it up.

I settled on 7/16 and 9/16 for the street now I've got the RB ARB on the front to improve turn in.

As for 'over softening' it, unless you are being brutal with the adjuster there is no way damage can be done.
