These are everywhere. Same theory for/against wheel spacers.

I need to run 17's to fit over my AP 330 mm disks and would like to run 17x9's with 235/40/17 semi slicks and have thought about wheel adapters.. Is the only problem that they act like spacers. I am thinking of running 15x10 on the back with 250/585/15 slicks and using my current 215/45/17 slicks on the front. Seems a bit odd having 2 inch smaller wheels on the back but it gives me 35mm more tyre on the back as wheel spin out of corners is a big issue with 180rwkw and 700 torques. ...
ANY THOUGHTS ?? Patrick

Cant you talk to someone like
http://www.metalspinnersaust.com.au/met ... pgodEGtX8Q or maybe see who is doing Simmons wheels these days. For a very specialised application it is worth getting the right thing for the right job and getting a set made to suit...it will be safe and it will be money well spent as it will work!

wheel Warehouse in Brisbane brought most of Simmons old manufacturering gear. They still do custom sizing in 15s and 17s only.
