Anybody got an aggressive offset MX5?
Just wondering if anybody running low offset wheels (0 - +20) offset on their NA's that would mind letting me drive it for a little bit just to see what they're like? Around the Central Coast/Sydney/Newcastle area would be awesome

I'm assuming you're referring to an 8" wide wheel too?

Re: Anybody got an aggressive offset MX5?
I can't offer you a drive but I tracked my car at +13 on 15x7s a couple of years ago. You could definitely feel that the front wheels were swinging on a wider arc. It felt different, not better and not worse, and it didn't handle any better or any worse. It was just the sort of thing that takes a day or two to get used to then you barely notice it.

Mine had 15x7 +12 when I got it. Mine has no p/steering I found it heavy in the steering & also didnt like the way it handled. Now have 15x7+38 it feels like it should steering is light handling much better. My 5 cents worth I wouldnt go lower than +25 if you dont want to affect the steering & handling too much

really? seems like the slick auto car might disagree with you. its one of the fastest track mx5's in the world and it runs 9inch at an effective offset of around +6.

The mixture of OEM calipers, bigger aftermarket rotors and Carbotech racing pads has stood up to track abuse and fits under 15×9-inch 949Racing 6UL wheels, which allow the use of normally unheard-of 275/35/15 Hoosier A6 tires.

My car is running +25mm in 15x8 with no PS. I also have a 320mm steering wheel.
It's awesome. Highly recommended. Not sure about going too far under that but each to their own.

Oh yeah, and as an added benefit only a light guard roll required at this offset and size.
