NB8B Front Caliper Slide Pin Lock Bolt Torque?

Hi,
Can anyone tell me the torque spec for the bolt that retains the caliper slide pins on the front of an NB8B? the bolt circled in RED in the attached pic.
I have a manual here but the number giving is impossibly high for such a small bolt. I think the manual may be US and referring to different brake set up.

Yep, I have the same issue you have. I don't believe the torque in the manual either.
My manual from the internet for Left hand drive models say 79-88NM or 58-65 ft.lbf.
Wether it's left or right hand drive shouldn't make a difference anyway as the parts are all the same.
It feels like its at the point where the bolt will strip when I have attempted the recommended torque. I have stripped one in the past tightening them, and I don't think I was even near the suggested torque.
I just end up doing it by feel with a short breaker bar these days.
Just as a tip if it is a car that you change brakes regularly on (track car), put a bit of ant seize on the bolt thread each time. Makes getting them out much easier for pad changes.

yeah that's the problem. Must admit that although I knew the tq value couldn't be right I tried to do one up to it and stripped the thread as well.
I have a chart in the workshop which gives for torque values based on the bolt grade, diameter and pitch. When I had a quick look at that it looked to be something like 20NM (or just below, can't remember exactly). Breaker bar not required!!!
