Hey what's the biggest offset and width 17 inch wheel I can run under my nb. Was going to role the lip on the guards too. Also what's a good lightweight wheel that won't be worth more than the car.

i have a late NB and read that some 15" wont fit due to larger brakes from 2002 onwards...
So if you do go for 15" ( they are popular ) check they fit before buying

In Australia, the larger brakes were standard for all nb8bs (late 2000 onwards). Good point though, although most 15's fit just fine.

Kosei racing do dial on offset/pcd wheels at reasonable prices

A mate has 17x8 +36 with 215/40. I think you will struggle to get any wheels to work with 255/40 without significant guard work/flares

hey dude..

17's are quite large for an NB.. I think even 16's look large, the OEM ones although look pretty, don't look proportionate to the car itself. I run 15x8+36 currently & think these are a perfect fit (flush with guards)

you can get away with 8' or 9' depending on offset, but anything past this would need some decent guard work. going 17's you'd want something with thick spokes to give it a full appearance.. I would consider work 3p rims.. but they are expensive & heavy. option b is RPF1's.

The Kosei look the goods. Light weight and not heaps experience.Thanks chops. I've already got 17/7 on it already but cheap heavy crap. Gauges are no problem for my hammer
