Before I go on, this is completely unorganised, however I have a few definates already (Both MX-5'ers and mates of mine). Thinking of going down to Melbourne for a cruise/holiday/meet n greet with you Melbournites. This won't be anytime soon - A few months at least away. Perhaps a stop off at Canberra too...
Ideas or signs of semi-interest?

Date , route, destination etc etc.. are all completely unconfirmed, but I'm working on it.... It will may be over the Easter break at the earliest
Anyone care to help me work out a nice route? Looks like the Great Alpine Rd runs though mid-regional victoria for quite some time.. So I will be planning to head down there.
Also planning for a stop in ACT

Head down to Canberra, then to Cooma, then Cabrumurra, then Kanchoban then Albury(via Walwa). Then Albury to Mt Beauty, Bright, Mt Hotham, Omeo, Bairnsdale then on to Melbourne. While in Melbourne make sure you take in the Reefton and Black Spurs. Head down the Great Ocean Road to Port Fairy(or similar?) then back home via Ballarat, Bendigo and Shepperton. Some nice twisty road and scenery up through the mountains, twisty road and scenery along the coast and some pleasant country cruising to get you back home.
That should give you a few ideas

Maybe Ray can find himself a nice new wife over there then? Maybe getting a wife and the subsequent goodies (wink wink) will chill him out a little?

I'd rather speak to an indian I can barely understand with a 5 second delay than speak to Ray. Maybe he can pick up a few pointers from them!
