I did it a few weeks ago with a mate in his 206 gti coming down from a party at Watsons Bay at about 2am on a Saturday nite. We had a clear run for ourselves virtually the whole way down. There was no traffic and no people until you get back down to the main intersection at Double Bay. Quick sweeping corners in 3rd and 4th that alternate pretty evenly between left and right handers, somewhat bumpy surface (still acceptable) with corner speeds of between 70-80 km/h. Double lanes on the way down. I wouldn't recommend the uphill though as it is too bumpy to be enjoyable. The downhill is awesome
