Went for a drive last night from samford to Dayboro to Mt Mee.

Very good drive, the only down fall the first third of the run is very rough up the mountain once your past that its very fun.

It's a somewhat regular haunt of the MX-5 Club. We have a run going that way next month. :)

I cant say I agree.

It is a nice road but the surface is wrecked full of potholes and bumps.

I'm with sirbob.... the dawn patrols we used to do there were absolutely incomparable. It's just too short!! Unlike the Mt Glorius run, which is half too tight (2nd gear) to be exciting and half too open (4th) to be safe, on the Mt Mee run you stay on boost flat out from corner to corner in 3rd....

Maybe the surface has gone downhill since I was there? But I'm coming back in September for Boags' wedding, getting the SP out of storage, and Mt Mee is first on the list...

Hey stranger!! Yes that road was out favourite for the Dawn Patrols...

We'll definately have to organise a run for when you're back! If not, I'll see you at the wedding.

I did this run on Sunday of the Easter long weekend. It was much more satisfying than the Mt Glorious run I did earlier this year (I kept getting stuck behind automatics and 4WD then). Surprisingly there wasn't a lot of traffic. I'm not sure if they've done a lot of roadwork since some of the posts above but I thought the roads were pretty good.

2 thumbs up!

I've just finished a video survey of Moreton Bay regional council, driving every road, and there are some cracker roads out the back of Dayboro and through to Mt Mee and Woodford. The only problem is a lot of them end up at dairy farms so no real loops back, but there are a few that do with some dirt sections that are fun if your not precious about a bit of dust
