Garry's comment on design is really quite illuminating. The OE suppliers have to pass every design , cost and quality standard imaginable and produce quality results measured in parts per mill (ppm)That is why cars have such long warranties- remember not that many years ago cars offered 12/20 warranties

I run Magnacore Blues. They seem fine to me. Tight fit though.

I use magnecore 8.8's on my NB8B. I even did a god-awful oil change just last fortnight and spilled a heap of oil down the plugs. Both the magnecore and standard plugs sealed fine..after I degreased it I had no oil down my sparkplug lines.
