Dual fan mod to improve air conditioning?

I know a few people use this mod to get both fans to kick in when the coolant gets warm:

It would be interested to know if it helps air conditioning work more efficiently as well? The stock setup runs just the one fan but the condenser takes up the width of both fans, so I am assuming it would make a difference?

EDIT: It already does this from the factory, oops! :oops:

Only when the car is stationary of course.

Remember I dont run ANY fans whatsoever.

Yeah I'm thinking sitting in traffic etc when it all starts to heat soak. 8)

Is it ducted well, I mean, Id think when stationary a lot of heat would radiate off the radiator? So if the whole area were nice and cool it would help a lot?

BJ astinas run both fans when the A/C is on. I Checked it because it does it even when cold.

I was under the impression that both fans operate when the Air Cond is on, or does this only apply to the NA models?

My stick NB kicks in both fans with AC on

I have no idea why I thought the air con just runs the one fan but you guys are right, it runs both! :lol:

Do you have a problem with your air conditioning?

Before I removed mine it was always icy cold. Maybe you just need some more gas?
