My 2006 NC is going for a tune on tuesday at chip torque.
Just had MX5 plus extractors and muff,er fitted. Idle is a little low at present..
I have the option of having the rev limiter increased.
I am oen to pros and cons of this approach.
Advice welcome.

Re: Increasing rev limiter On NC model
Ice increased my limiter to 7500rpm.
Then again I've never hit the limiter. No real advantage increasing it. May as we'll keep it at 7200rpm.
I'm going to get my limiter reduced when I upgrade to the racerom flash

No point of it doesn't make power there.

Re: Increasing rev limiter On NC model
only reason if you are not making extra power up there would be to hold onto a certain gear at certain race tracks.
other then that its just increased unnecessary wear and tear.
