Although apparently it can be done, it's a PITA as you have mere cm's of room to play with.
Hoist or pit strongly recommended, as well as an engine crane to lift the front of the engine for much better access to bolts.

What's wrong with the diff and trans?

Having done 2 clutches with stands I say do you best to get access to a hoist or pit.

Figured it had never been done...
Transmission is stiff and turret was empty but is now full.

Hang-on, are you just doing lube changes on the box and diff? If so, then easy as, although you need to find a 23mm socket for the diff fill plug.
If you have a hand-pump like this, or a like a giant syringe, it would make life much easier

Yeah both. Got the 23mm piece and the huge syringe.

Update!

On Saturday when I was heading over to a friends place I took off from the lights and crunch!
Couldn't get into second! Ok... I'll try every other gear, Nup no gears (this has happened maybe 3 times, figured it was the clutch slave cylinder). No clutch!
Pulled up to turn around and still no gears! (usually it would go into gear, finally when stationary)

So I turned the 5 off and put it in first, started the car and drove clutchless to my friends place.

Took it to the mechanics today and they say a clutch plate could have fallen off.

Replacing the clutch soon and the slave cylinder.

Should have done it earlier and I could have done a captain nate haha!

No more clutches on dodgy days please, however we do know some of the issues! If you need the use of a trailer next time give me a yell.

Well I finally have the money to do an upgrade, RDA slotted and dimpled rotors with ebc green stuff front pads and redstuff rears (couldn't get in greens for the rear).
Looking forward to getting it all done as my brakes are pretty pathetic.

Don't know how that image will go..
Cant wait to feel the difference in braking!
