I've heard someone has a black NB with vinyl tinted tailights. May want to read his Garage thread

Luzinit I found the side skirts new on ebay in the US, they're known as the Large OEM side skirts for the NB8B. They arrived this week. Im about 80-90% sold on how they look on my car.

Re: My newly acquired immaculate black NB
My 01+ dash arrived yesterday! Put it in and one of the main bulbs was blown
A few mins of juggling interior trim around and another bulb died too.
I pulled one of the dead bulbs out and tried to move the red cover over to a spare working bulb but the cover had half melted to the bulb and I tore the brittle silicon cover.
In desperation to see it all working I dropped into supercheap and all they had were transparent amber wedge bulbs.

I tried 4 of these, and by some fluke it actually looks better than the stock red, like the colour of the 350z dash. Its much brighter and the illumination is perfectly even.
All I need now are some amber T5 bulbs for the HVAC and everything will be orange. I've ordered some more bulbs on ebay including some clear red ones in case I get sick of orange.

I've photo shopped this pic a bit to give a true indication of the colour you get from these amber bulbs:

Thanks Phil B for rolling my rear guards slightly this morning just as a precaution.

Im liking these new wheels, really suits it.
Did you get a JDM gauge cluster for the 180 km/h speedo or is yours a JAP spec? And is your ODO not working or just the pic?

Re: My newly acquired immaculate black NB
I bought the cluster from japan for the white gauges and the red illumination. I moved my odometer over to the new cluster and it works fine, the numbers aren't supposed to appear on the screen until you reach a certain point when you're turning the key in the ignition. The first stage on the ignition allows the lights and stereo to work, the 2nd stage allows the interior fan, odometer, accessories to work.
