Bad bad news... I just found that the competition engine and diff mount that I ordered was sold indiviually, now I have to order again and wait until they come again.

Why competition mounts? Did your mechanic friend advise you what needed to be ordered?

Re: Tesco's NB8B
I just think since the mount is 14 years old and all the parts need to be remove, then why not upgrade to competition mount?

I think this is the whole mounting set, I was thinking about just the stiffer rubber.

Re: Tesco's NB8B
Finially... My car has been repaired and get back on the road.
Since the steering rack was broken, I searched for how to depower the steering and I did it on my car as well.
Somehow it get very stiff but I think is because I haven't get used to it yet. Also wheels alignment haven't been done so it might be one of the reason too.
Right now I need to look for a new undertray and a NA idle pulley.
Tomorrow will go for wheels alignment.
Last crash was tatolly disaster, it should never happen again.

Re: Tesco's NB8B
Glad your car is fixed tesco.
Without power steering you should have a maximum castor of 4.5 deg or it will be very heavy. I have 3.45 the steering is fine for everyday driving. I would have more but this is the maximum I could dial in while retaining enough negative camber.
You have a few months to sort your car out before the next event.
You missed a pearler today.

You now need to drive and turn as opposed to turn and drive!

Tesco,
Be sure to look into the settings reccomend for depowered racks so you can pass them to the alignment shop.
