If I can blow through both end, does that mean I will need a valve? Or something I will need to do with the hose?

Yes, you'll need a one-way check valve if you can blow through both ends. I got mine from Repco.

Thanks, I will have a look later. I hope that has a one way check valve in it.

This may be a silly question but, what does the one way valve do? Lets the air/pressure go from the intake manifold to the brake booster but not back the other way?

It lets the vacuum go to the booster so you have brake boost even when there is no vacuum in the manifold at the time of breaking

Just a heads up, you know there is a few items on your planned list that will make the car not road legal?

Yeah i'm not a fan of deleting the rear brake light on the boot lid. With Perth's bad drivers you really don't want to give them a reason to drive into the back of you, especially if the modification will void your insurance.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Food for thought:

Do a few Miata/MX5 forum searches regarding the Start button. The general consensus is that the novelty wears off quickly and is not worth the hassle of the installation.

Are you aware that the font grille significantly reduces airflow to the radiator?
It's not an issue for DD but you definitely don't want to compromise your cooling on the track, especially if you plan on turbocharging your car so will have an intercooler in front of the radiator too.
Don't worry about dying, worry about not living!

I am thinking to get a S2000 start button, but I have never heard about the wear issue? Can you tell me more about that please?

About the front grill. Isn't it better to have one instead of letting rocks and sharp object to fly in and hit the radiator? I heard about the air flow issue, but people said that didn't make much difference.
