And I've just paid for a MX5+ torque box :) Single hoop, double diagonal.
Guards are booked in to be rolled on Tuesday evening. Will organise an alignment fairly shortly after that.
Going for a decent drive with a few mates on the Saturday after next.

Woot!

I'd expect you'll be pretty happy with the new alignment. Probably less wandering on straight ahead. What's your verdict so far?

Don't know yet. Only dríven it the 2km home from the shop.

Was supposed to be going for a drive with a few mates tomorrow but they've all bailed. May go for a trek out to Gunning or somewhere to grab lunch just with my girlfriend though just to see how it goes. Failing that I'm heading down the south coast next weekend to I'll get a good test of it then at least.

Ended up going out to Gunning for lunch via Nanima road. First decent drive on the new suspension and it felt great. A little stiffer and more back jarring on the less than good sections of road but much flatter and more confidence inspiring everywhere else. Very much looking forward to how it goes at Wakefield in a few weeks.

For the weekend a few mates an I rented a place at Malua Bay down the south coast, so I took this as a good opportunity to test out the new suspension stuff. First up, turn in is remarkably improved. I start to turn a corner and the car just does the rest. Everything about the car just inspires more confidence. It tells me exactly what is going on. I kept pushing and it just kept doing it's thing.

A few photos from the trip.

I did manage to clip the guard after hitting a pothole though :( Turns out there's a decent amount of bog in there too.

Car looks great mate!!
Is the rear meant to be lower then the front though? :P

Mine looks much the same, long drives without having enough time to wash it :D
