I really like it from the front, but the arse and side don't do it for me. Nice wheels. What? No CF hardtop to match??

Im -positive- the grunt factor would get me over the looks. :-D

just got some nicely heat cycled semis for this years track days. Advan A048 in 225 50 15. they are seriously wide. I will be bringing these out at the second time I go as I would like to see the difference between these and my do1's with my current setup.

Don't waste your time on streets while on the track if you've got some semis just sitting there. One of the best mods you can do to lower times IMO. Jump straight in man.

do1's are semis. they are the older style dunlop semi slick that has been replaced by the do3

finally got my sparco in after trying 3 ways the last worked - as is to be expected. After trying to come up with a way of making a braket to mount to the stock rails and then side mount to the seat I gave up when i realised i would have to cut the seat belt bit a little. So one night trying to get to sleep another idea hit me. I thought I would bolt a bit of 40mm square aluminium bar to the rails creating a box then mount the seat to the aluminium bar. after a little trial and error it worked. And me not being the tallest man alive it also solved the problem of the seat being too low! i will post pics soon.

a few updates. I swapped the aluminium bar to gal steel of the same measurements for the seat. I have also braced the front end so the slitter is supported by more then just the front bar its self.

I also just organised to purchase a wing for the track next week.

My problem is now do I drill my carbon boot lid or do I just put it on my stock one?

Drilling carbon sure doesn't seem undo-able, but it would look much better :)

Sidenote, are you using bonnet pins?
And any chance of engine bay pics?

no bonnet pins. there is a provision for them I think like an outline of sorts. I am doing my new air box on the weekend then I will give it a bit of a clean and take some pics.
