Re: 01/10/18 - Dodgy Day (Queensland)
Love to join the fun but a young family has me doing other stuff I'm afraid.
Having just rolled my first guards it's not difficult, just take it steady and make small adjustments to the roller. On my NC I didn't use a heat gun and didn't have any paint cracking but it might be different on an older car.

Re: 01/10/18 - Dodgy Day (Queensland)
Unfortunately I'm going to have to pull out of the Dodgy day guys
Some doctors want to poke me full of holes a few days before and I don't think I'll be feeling up to dragging race cars across SE QLD. I'm going to miss the club Go-Kart event too
If I'm feeling OK enough by Monday I might try to pop in an say Hi though. I'll have to see how I'm going.
Next time. I might even be up for hosting.
So the list is back to...
Jobs
Skills needed
Spectating (with popcorn)

I might be a bit more greedy with the resources if this keeps up! I have a more intensive control arm job I need to do, but it will take most of the day when combined with my height settings, so I'll need a bay in the shed.

That's good, because I'll need a drill! (Do you have a drill press?)

I got my bushes out and in with a bench vice and some spacers. No big deal in the end.

Yes, and a better toy. Maybe a good idea to bring the drill bit size you need, whilst there is a very good chance i have the size you need murphy's law states that I will not...ManiacLachy wrote:Do you have a drill press?

Yeah, I'll bring bits, taps, etc. Even if you have them I'd rather have them on hand. You know I always turn up with my own tools anyway. Got a sharpener?

Re: 01/10/18 - Dodgy Day (Queensland)
OK. I'll pop my head up now.
I am a maybe for the diff. I was hoping to do the hillclimb next weekend, for which the current 4.78 is much more suitable than the 4.44 scheduled for installation. However the hillclimb is looking uncertain.
BUT... I currently have the car up on stands preparing to swap my 4-speed
for a 5-speed. It seems logical to do the diff at the same time. It would seem a bit greedy to try and do both at a dodgy although many hands etc.
Magpie, do you have a hoist?
Cheer, Adam.
