Re: The carbon fibre time attack/superlap MX5 NB twins blog
Thanks for that, I was finding it hard to concentrate due to everyone at home being sick - no sleep for a few days does little to help your driving. That lap should have been a 1:55.3 if I didn't muff the gear change.

Re: The carbon fibre time attack/superlap MX5 NB twins blog
What, am i the only one that didn't know it was on speedhunters??? It's pretty cool to get the car on there.
It's funny reading all the comments, the car wasn't built to look pretty, it was built to go as fast as possible for a limited budget and time.
Some guys must not see the difference from a car that is built to drive fast, and a car built for show.

There's one thing I've learnt about Speedhunters, it's that the people commenting don't have a clue what they are talking about.

I read/view Speedhunters regularly, their content is varied and you have to ignore the bits you don't want to look at.
I have little interest in a lot of the North American stuff, but I thoroughly enjoy 'grassroots' type stuff.

nice driving both of you, are the events placed or timed? If so shouldn't that driver move aside?

This was a time attack style sprints event only.

Yes, but they ignored the blue flags for some 3 laps.
Stewards had some discussions afterwards.

I hate it when that happens, ruins the day for a few just because they are selfish, changing there line impacts them for no more than 2 seconds. I have the issue a tonne with heavy falcons/commodores.
